Standard vs Express TDAC Processing

An honest comparison of VisaPal's Standard and Express Thailand Digital Arrival Card assistance options, without invented turnaround guarantees.

Introduction

VisaPal offers Standard and Express processing for Thailand Digital Arrival Card assistance. Both options help prepare and submit your application when eligible and deliver the completed TDAC by email. The difference is priority handling, not a different government form.

Current prices are shown before payment during the application flow. This page does not invent prices or guaranteed turnaround times. For the wider service explanation, see why choose VisaPal and the TDAC guide.

Standard service

Standard is designed for travellers who want reliable assistance without selecting the higher-priority option. Processing begins after successful payment and receipt of the required information.

If your arrival date is outside the official three-day TDAC window but still within VisaPal's seven-day booking period, a Standard request can still be accepted as a secure pre-booking and processed once eligible. Timing rules are explained in when to apply.

Express service

Express is intended for travellers who prefer higher-priority handling of their request once payment is complete and the application is ready to process.

Express does not override official submission rules, invent faster government processing, or guarantee a fixed clock-time delivery. It prioritises VisaPal's handling of eligible requests within the same secure service framework.

What both services include

  • Secure online Thailand Digital Arrival Card application
  • Preparation and review of the details you provide
  • Submission assistance when your arrival date is eligible
  • Encrypted handling of sensitive application information
  • Email delivery of the completed TDAC
  • Customer support relating to your request

Step-by-step process detail is on how to apply. What the fee covers is on the cost page.

Security

Security does not change between Standard and Express. Sensitive application information is encrypted before it is stored. Payments are processed through Stripe. VisaPal does not store payment card numbers or CVC.

Sensitive TDAC application information is retained for no more than seven days from VisaPal submission and is then permanently deleted. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Email delivery

For both service levels, the completed Thailand Digital Arrival Card is emailed to the address you provide once processing is finished. Enter that address carefully. Delivery depends on a correct inbox as much as on processing itself.

What processing time means

Processing begins after successful payment and receipt of all required information. Published processing times, where shown, are targets and not guarantees.

Timing can also depend on:

  • whether your arrival date is already inside the official TDAC window
  • whether the information submitted is complete and accurate
  • operating hours and capacity
  • availability of the official TDAC system

Those qualifications are also reflected in the Terms of Use.

Honest comparison

Choose Standard if

You want the full VisaPal assistance service and do not need to select higher-priority handling.

Choose Express if

You prefer higher-priority VisaPal handling once payment is complete and the application is ready to process.

Neither option makes VisaPal part of Thailand Immigration, and neither replaces checking whether you need a TDAC. See Do I need a Thailand Digital Arrival Card? if that question is still open.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Standard and Express?

Both options cover the same core assistance. Express is intended for higher-priority handling once payment is complete and the application is ready to process. Prices for each option are shown before payment.

Does Express change the official TDAC window?

No. Thailand Immigration currently allows official submission within three days before arrival, including the arrival date. Express does not make early official submission possible outside that window.

Are processing times guaranteed?

No. Published processing times, where shown, are targets and not guarantees. Timing can depend on complete information, eligibility, service level and official system availability.

Is security different between Standard and Express?

No. Sensitive application information is encrypted before storage for VisaPal applications, and payments are processed through Stripe for both service levels.

Which should I choose?

Choose Standard if reliable assistance without higher-priority handling is enough. Choose Express if you prefer higher-priority processing once the request is ready. Review prices at checkout before paying.

Where can I see what VisaPal charges for?

See the TDAC cost page for what the assistance fee covers, and remember the official TDAC itself remains free through Thailand Immigration.
